Three seasons later, the Chargers advanced to the State Semifinals.

Before coming to ACC, Coach Curry was the head coach at Freeport Aquin High School, where he helped win two state championships in 1981 and 1986.

In 2007, Curry was inducted into the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony, along with a presentation to Coach Curry from the city of Aurora will be made between the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys game at approximatly 7:15 at Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday.
